What Countries allow FRS radios?

Is there a list some place of the countries where it is legal to use FRS two-way radios?

I especially need to know if FRS radios legal to use in Indonesia or in Malaysia.

If you couldn't you find what you were looking for, search here to find it using Google!

    NO!

Yup. I doubt there is a handy list either. The Family Radio Service was set up by the Federal Communications Commission so people living in the United States could have access to a low-powered two-way radio service … designed to work over short distances so it does not cause interference to other radio users.

The channels were allocated by the FCC, which has no jurisdiction in foreign countries. The radios are for use in the USA, but I believe Canada allows them as well. But that is it.

FRS channels and radios are illegal in Australia, where I live.

Indonesia and Malaysia are independent countries and they make their own rules as to who may have radio transmitters and what frequencies you must use if they let you. If you take an unauthorized two-way radio to those countries, you risk being thrown in jail. No kidding.
