Can CB talk to other services?

Can I use a CB radio to communicate with the two way radios they use at my workplace… Will this be possible for me?
I’m a security guard and we use two-way radios for communications where I work.
I will be getting myself a CB radio soon, and I was wondering if it will be possible to use this to talk to the two way radios at work.
Would my CB be using the same frequencies or have the same channels as the 2-way radios the other guys use?
Thanks.

Definitely not. CB channels are between 26.965 MHz (channel 1) and 27.405 MHz (channel 40). The majority of two-way communication radios use frequencies between 460 MHz and 470 MHz.
Yes, the security company is most likely using UHF radios (450-512 MHz), but it is just possible they could be using VHF radios (150-170 MHz). Such VHF and UHF handheld or mobile radios use FM modulation, whereas 27 MHz CB radio uses AM modulation – unless it is a single-sideband rig. So even if the frequencies / channels were the same, you wouldn’t be able to understand each other’s transmissions anyway. What is more, even if you could talk to other radio services, you would then be breaking the FCC regulations.
